Sunsetting Lunie.io
At Lunie, we’ve been focused on providing the best multi-network staking and governance interface in the world. Our ultimate vision was to support as many independent proof-of-stake projects as we could, by providing a simple and easy to use product suite. We started with Cosmos and grew to support 12+ mainnets and testnets.
To help these efforts we created an API to standardize data models across several independent blockchains, with the hopes that this would help us scale. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case. Projects evolved quickly and maintaining so many live networks across our whole product suite became extremely time-consuming for our small team.
So, after 3 years of designing, building and supporting the Lunie product suite, we’ve decided to fundamentally change course. At the end of November, we’ll be shutting down our web app (app.lunie.io), our mobile apps, and our browser extension.
We’re working with our partners at the ICF, Tendermint, e-Money, and Akash to ensure the transition from Lunie to other products will be simple and seamless for everyone.
What you need to know:
Lunie is non-custodial. As a non-custodial service, your crypto lives on a blockchain. What this means is that you can import your backup code (seed phrase) to any other trusted wallet service/staking interface at any time.
You do not need to un-stake or send anything.
We’ve put together some guides to help users understand the process of moving a seed phrase (backup code) from one service to another. Please, never share your seed phrase with anyone and don’t import your seed phrase into any products you don’t trust.

We’re happy to help during this transition. If you have any questions please feel free to message us on Intercom or email us at support@lunie.io.
In the coming days, we’ll be announcing a new, developer-friendly version of Lunie that we hope will provide a good foundation for many teams in the Cosmos ecosystem going forward.
Thank you kindly,
Jordan, Fabo, and the Lunie team.
